A free summer concert series called 'Grass Roots in the Park at the Horse Farm' will beheld on Thursdays at the new Central Park on Johnston Street.

Park planners told the City-Parish Council fundraising is about 30 percent complete.

Expect to see lush gardens, an amphitheater and a hammock grove at the park, along with revenue-generating attractions like mini golf and a carousel.
