St. Medard Feast Day is Today, June 8 – Will it Rain or Not?

"Should Saint Médard's day be wet, it will rain for forty yet; At least until Saint Barnabas, the summer sun won't favor us." So goes the saying in France, according to CatholicCulture.org, taken from The Feast Day Cookbook. St. Medard is invoked against bad weather, toothache, sterility and imprisonment. Let's hope we're all free of all those things today!
