St. Jude Families Upset Over Michelle Obama’s Visit

Michelle Obama is visiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis today, and the disruption in hospital services has some families upset.

Too add insult to injury, the First Lady's plane has been delayed for over an hour, due to a maintenance issue.

The issue was brought to my attention on Farrah's mom's page; she explains about not being able to get Farrah's blood transfusion today.

How do you feel about the First Lady visiting St. Jude?  I think that it is imperative that the White House knows about the great work St. Jude does for our kids, but should it be at the cost of reduction in services for the kids?

How would you feel if you were told that, because of a visiting dignitary, you couldn't accompany your child to his/her appointment/treatment?
