St. Jude Chili Cook-Off Pictures

The 3rd Annual St. Jude Chili Cook-off took place at Cajun Harley-Davidson and, considering the cold weather, it was a great turnout!

7 teams competed for this year's trophy, will all of them cooking up stiff competition.

The crowd, most of them bundled up to battle the bone-chilling 45-degree weather, was all smiles as they sampled the different types of chili.  Even Debbie Ray came out to donate to St. Jude!

As an added bonus, students and faculty at Blue Cliff College put in some community service hours by providing relaxing massages to cook-off attendees.  Demarkus, Samantha, Katie, Danielle, Madison and Troy were eager to share their skills with those sharing support for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

My favorite photo of the day?  These two kids, enjoying their chili.  The best thing about this photo is the fact that their parents are teaching them, early, to give back to the community.
