Spring is almost here in south Louisiana, and with it, a treasured tradition in downtown New Iberia. The annual Shadows on the Teche Spring Arts and Crafts Show will be held this Saturday, March 7th, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on the grounds of this historic antebellum home at 317 East Main Street.

Over 100 local and regional craftsmen will be on hand through out the gorgeous manicured gardens, and at the Shadows Visitor Center. This is a wonderful way to support our local artisans, and get handmade jewelry, art, metal working, mixed media items, and other handmade products. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

Admission is $5 for adults, kids 6 -11 are $3, and children under 5 are free. Pets will not be allowed. The Shadows is a property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and all  proceeds from the semi annual arts and crafts show will benefit this beautiful and unique Acadiana site. Call 337-369-6446 or email shadows@savingplaces.org. for more info on this fun event.
