Louisiana Senator Addresses His Workout Partner Who Was Left Outside
(KTDY) - United States Senator John Kennedy took to social media to address his workout partner, who was left outdoors.
As you may already know. Sen. Kennedy has quite the personality and is never short of words.
Well, apparently, this social media team has advised him that it's time to catch up with the times and get more active on social media, so Sen. Kennedy took the time to address his "trainer" on Facebook.
Kennedy recently posted that his "trainer," an elliptical machine, stays outdoors, and, as you may expect, some on social media questioned why he leaves the expensive workout machine outside.
Costs for Elliptical Machine
After seeing the comments, Sen. Kennedy felt the need to explain why he leaves the machine he's named Margaret outside. You'd think that someone with the status of Kennedy would invest in expensive equipment to remain healthy, but that's not the case here.
In the video posted on Sen. Kennedy's official social media page, we learned that "Margaret" is not a new piece of workout equipment. Most new elliptical machines can cost more than a thousand dollars, but the Louisiana native didn't make that steep an investment.
Kennedy says in the hilarious video below that he purchased his elliptical machine on Facebook Marketplace for approximately $250 because he is tight and did not feel like spending so much on a piece of equipment.

While wearing his red bandana, Kennedy notes that it's hot out and his trainer is about to put him to work. The best part of this video may have come as Sen Kennedy concluded it with the words, "Peace Out."
Those two words were enough for me to decide to follow him on social media, hoping we would get more content like this from him in the near future. Do you wish that more politicians would do videos like this and let "their hair down?" I do.
Enjoy.
After a quick search, I found some of Sen. Kennedy's best lines on television, and I know some of you will enjoy them. Perhaps he should consider comedy once his political career is done.
