Seacor Power Owners File Countersuit Against Surviving Members And Families
According to our media partners at KATC-TV3, owners of the Seacor Power vessel have filed civil action in hopes to protect the company from liability. The filing is against families of the crew members of the vessel that capsized in April.

According to the above report, the federal court filing would limit claims from surviving members or families of those lost. A fund of $5,678,420 is to be split amongst those affected by the incident.
A statement by the company that is included in the suit says that they are not responsible and that the incident was, "not due to any fault, neglect or want of care" per the above report.
