Scooter Braun Acknowledges Taylor Swift Feud on Instagram
When Taylor Swift wrote an open letter detailing the "incessant, manipulative bullying" she had received at the hands of Scooter Braun "for years" after she heard he had purchased Big Machine Records — the label that released Swift's first six albums — celebrities chose sides.
Halsey immediately backed the "You Need To Calm Down" singer while the lauded music manager's newest client, Demi Lovato, showed what side she was on. Big Machine's former owner, Scott Borchetta, even penned a lengthy message telling his side of the story. After her initial Tumblr post, Swift had stayed relatively quite (aside from taking a subtle jab during the Amazon Prime Day concert last week), but there has been one person staying mum during the whole ordeal: Braun.
The music magnate slyly broke his silence on Wednesday (July 17). The internet has been going crazy over FaceApp lately, namely using the old age filter to take a glimpse 40-60 years into the future, and Braun decided to join in on the fun.
"Last couple of weeks have really taken a toll on me," he captioned a photo on Instagram using the aged filter.
Well, he made it pretty clear how he feels about the whole thing! See below:
Braun, who manages stars like Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, has reportedly tried to contact Swift to deal with the drama personally and privately, but she refuses to speak to him.
