Saints Add Explosive Deep Threat Brandin Cooks [Video]

The New Orleans Saints are clearly on a youth movement. They took a big step in rejeuvenating the receiving core with the selection of Oregon St. wide receiver Brandin Cooks. Earlier this year, they parted ways with Darren Sproles, who'll be 31 in June, and the aging Lance Moore.

Cooks won the Biletnikoff Award as college football's best wide receiver. His numbers were gaudy, 128 receptions, for 1,730 yards, and 16 touchdowns. If there's a downside to Cooks, it's lack of size (5'10", 189 lbs.). He has blazing speed (4.33 in the 40 yd. dash),  giving Drew Brees an explosive deep threat. Watch Brandin Cooks in action...
