Rick Broussard Co-Owner Of The New Scandals Night Club Killed In Car Crash

Rick Broussard, co-owner of the new Scandals night club and friend to many, was killed in an automobile accident Thursday night.  Last night Scandals night club in Crown Plaza Hotel was closed and a wreath placed on the entrance. Tonight, however, Scandals will be open and ready for business.  Ready to celebrate the life of the very entity that brought the club back to life.  Wouldn't it be nice if we could do the same with people, bring them back to life?

Scandals has been a sponsor of the CJ and Debbie Ray Morning Show on KTDY for a while and of the Super Saturday Dance Party even longer.  Tonight, I will not mention the death of a friend on the show but I will be feeling the sadness in my heart, however, the show must go on.  That's why it is imperative that we live life to the fullest and make sure we tell folks we love 'um everyday.  Life is short and no matter how hard we try to impact the world, after a certain amount of time our footprint on this Earth disappears and memories fade.  So let's all stop trying so hard on the things that don't really matter and focus on the people who do.
