(New Orleans, Louisiana) - A viral video on social media shows a rat in the window of a popular restaurant in New Orleans.

True, like any other major city in the country, rats are everywhere in New Orleans, especially as you get closer to the water or river in the city.

And if you know anything about the layout of New Orleans, you know that the French Quarter isn't far from the Mississippi River, which means it's a prime location for rodents.

Well, another video of a rat in a restaurant in New Orleans has surfaced, and many aren't shocked, as this isn't the first and certainly won't be the last time we see such.

A group of men were walking by a restaurant in the French Quarter when they noticed a rat in the restaurant. The rodent was scouring through the establishment, likely looking for food, when the men saw and videoed it.

Many commenting under the viral video didn't seem to be bothered by it, as many say that this is the norm for that part of the city. Some of those commenting on the video say that they've worked in the French Quarter and this is an everyday occurrence.

I should note that many of the businesses in the Quarter do their best to combat rodents, but at times, it can be overwhelming due to the high rodent population in the city.

Here's a look at the rodent moving through the restaurant as onlookers watch.

Now, let's hit the rewind button. Remember when a rat was seen in a pizza restaurant on Bourbon Street? So yes, rodents have always been an issue in New Orleans, and it will be interesting to see if they ever find a way to combat these unwanted guests.

Again, rats are a problem in most major cities. Remember the video of this rat in New York City dragging a garbage bag across the sidewalk?
