At a family gathering on Christmas Eve, Santa made a surprise appearance.

After dinner, my brother-in-law kept checking the app on his phone that gave him Santa's location. He'd then relay that position to the kids: first, leaving the North Pole, then through Canada and on down to Louisiana. Once Santa arrived in Alexandria, the kids were making steady glances at the windows, hoping to get a glimpse of Santa. And then, it happened!
