Private Christian School Teacher Arrested Following Second Inappropriate Incident with a Minor

A now-former teacher at a private Christian school in Florida was arrested on charges of an authority figure soliciting or engaging in lewd conduct with a student and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The kicker? This was the second time she was arrested in reference to inappropriate behavior with a minor...as a teacher.

Hoover, 39, was arrested and charged with one count of an authority figure soliciting or engaging in sex with a student in June after allegedly exchanging explicit messages with an 18-year-old senior student.

The new charges result from a student telling investigators that Hoover twerked on him and pressured him to drink alcohol at his high school prom on April 8.

He told investigators that he became so uncomfortable while she twerked on him that other students tried several times to squeeze in between the then-teacher and the boy to get her to stop. According to WCTV, at least two students who intervened corroborated the incident.

Hoover also allegedly forced the underage student to drink, even forcing the straw from her alcoholic beverage into his mouth.

It's unclear whether the student with whom Hoover allegedly exchanged explicit messages is the same boy who made the twerking allegations.

The initial sexting incident was brought to the police's attention on June 2 when the student's mother discovered the sexually charged messages between her son and Hoover from March to April.

According to a school official, Hoover is no longer a teacher at Point of Grace Christian School.
