Opelousas Police Chief and Wife Injured in Shooting [UPDATE]
UPDATE TO STORY:
NEWS 15 is reporting that Chief Graig “Twin” LeBlanc and his wife were shot on Garnet Drive at the home of an officer with the Opelousas Police Department.
An argument reportedly ensued and the homeowner where the Chief was at came out with a gun.
Chief Leblancc allegedly put his hand in front of the gun and that is when he was shot in the hand, and the bullet traveled through it striking his wife in the leg.
News 15 reports that the homeowner was detained but no charges have been filed thus far in this incident.

We are following a developing story out of Opelousas, Louisiana.
KLFY New 10 is reporting that Opelousas Chief of Police Graig LeBlanc was shot in the hand, and his wife Crystal LeBlanc was shot in the arm.
Both are being treated in a local hospital and the incident is currently under investigation.
The injuries sustained by both are not believed to be life-threatening.
KLFY reports that the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the shooting.
