
Oilfield Service Company To Remain In Lafayette After Sale
With falling prices, we've been hearing a lot of gloom and doom about the oil patch lately. Here's some good news. The Associated Press reports, Lafayette based C&C Technologies will remain in the Hub City after being acquired by Houston based Oceaneering International. C&C is a privately owned company, specializing in deepwater services like mapping, providing GPS, and deepwater submersibles. The deal is worth a reported $230 million.
