A Crowley man has been arrested after Acadia Parish Parish Sheriff's deputies searched two areas that turned up multiple stolen cars and other big ticket items.

Deputies were in search of stolen parts, but they turned up much more.

Sheriff K.P. Gibson say they have arrested 57-year-old Charles Prather Jr. after executing a search warrant in the 6000 block of Sidney Richard Road and at a home in the 200 block of Stewartville Road.

Gibson says, in all, his deputies found the following stolen things:

  • One Harley Davidson motorcycle
  • Four utiliity trailers
  • Seven vehicles
  • One John Deere tractor

The Sheriff says that most of the stolen items that they were able to recover Monday were stolen from places that were not inside the boundaries of Acadia Parish.

Prather was booked into jail on 13 counts of possession of stolen property.

The man's bond was set at $165,000.
