The Nation of Patriots Tour is carrying a US Flag to all 48 contiguous states, raising funds and awareness for our wounded warriors.

In honor of America's armed forces - past, present and fallen, the Patriot Tour is a traveling United States Flag, being passed city to city, state to state.  The Patriot Tour started on Memorial Day, and will end on Labor Day, with the flag having traveled over 14,000 miles, through 48 states, honoring our heroes.

The flag is escorted from city to city by motorcycle enthusiasts, sometimes met with a small gathering of people, sometimes with grand celebrations.

When the Nation of Patriots Tour made a last-minute stop in Acadiana last year, it was met with a ceremonious march from the Baton Rouge Pipe and Drum Corps, an entrance way adorned by a huge American Flag, courtesy of the Lafayette Fire Department, presentation of our State and National Colors by the United States Army, and dozens of patriotic citizens.

This year, we would like to see hundreds of people lining the entrance, supporting our wounded warriors.  The Flag is scheduled to arrive at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 5, at Cajun Harley-Davidson in Scott.  Once there, a solemn ceremonious passing of the Flag will take place, and a "Last Call" ceremony to honor one hero who has given all.

Lunch will be available for all in attendance (for a minimum donation of $5, please)  T-shirts will also be available for a minimum donation of $20.  The Flag will depart at 3pm.
