Medicaid Recipients Need To Read Their Mail

The Louisiana Department of Health of Hospitals wants anyone who is a recipient to make sure that they are opening any mail that they receive.

There have been changes in the way that the Department looks at earnings. They are done quarterly.

DHH also looks at the rolls from the Department of Revenue on a quarterly basis, and they don't just depend on someone's self reporting.

In addition, Medicaid also requires people who are recipients to renew their healthcare coverage once a year.
