Mariah Carey, who is separated from her husband Nick Cannon, opened her 'Elusive Chanteuse Tour' in Tokyo over the weekend, and she wasn't good.

Arguably, one the greatest voices ever, Carey could have used a bit more rehearsal time...or is the voice just not able to do what is used to?  She started 'Always Be My Baby' just OK, then it went down hill, way down hill.

On a song called, 'My All', it got even worse.

Was she using auto-tune?  She even had trouble with the microphone.

All things considered, it was the first show out the gate.  Break a leg Mariah!
