Man Wanted In Texas, Nabbed In Cecilia

A man who Texas authorities say killed his wife then took off with their two children was arrested in Cecilia this morning by deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.

Major Ginny Higgins says that the two were found safe inside a home in the 1000 block of Madeline Boulevard where they found their suspect.

Deputies arrested 37-year-old Quang Do for allegedly killing his wife, Jenihonganh Thuy Nguyen.

Do has been booked on a charged of First Degree Murder, and at some point, he will be extradited back to Texas to face the charge.

Last night, officials from Fort Bend County, asked for the department's help, and they were able to execute a search warrant at the above address this morning.
