LSU Women’s Basketball Player Mikaylah Williams Makes History in PMAC
LSU Women's Basketball is red hot these days and so is Freshman Mikaylah Williams.
Williams led the LSU Lady Tigers to a victory over Kent St. this week in the PMAC, but she also did something that no other freshman has ever done in Lady Tigers history or NCAA era history.
The freshman player scored a career-high 42 points in the win, setting a school and NCAA record.
According to Sports Illustrated, Williams was 15-20 from the field including 5-8 from three with 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
LSU defeated Kent St by 30 points as the LSU faithful cheered on the team in an early Tuesday morning game.
The Lady Tigers are coming off of their National Championship season and expectations are high.
Unfortunately, LSU lost their season-opener in Vegas, but many did not seem to be concerned with the early season loss because of the amount of talent that has been assembled on this team.
Here are some of the highlights from the convincing win by the Lady Tigers.
