(KTDY) - An LSU fan made his way on the field Saturday night in Alabama as LSU took on its rival, the Alabama Crimson Tide.

A fan wearing a purple shirt just walked on the field during a timeout and made his way across it until someone noticed him. A female was seen escorting the fan to the LSU sideline, where two police officers who are assigned to protect the LSU coach restrained him.

As you will see below, the fan did not resist at all, and now we have to ask ourselves, why did he walk across the field in Alabama? Was it a dream to always be on this playing field, or did the guy here lose a bet? We may never know.

Here's the moment the fan made his way onto Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday night.

Too bad he couldn't play offense because LSU could have used all the help Saturday night as they lost to the Crimson Tide 20-9. LSU takes on Arkansas next Saturday at noon in Baton Rouge.

Here's a view from above, and you can see how far the fan got on the field until someone noticed him and then escorted him off the field.

This isn't the first time an LSU fan or fans have walked on the field. At the start of the season, LSU fans were seen celebrating a victory against Clemson. Oh, how the mood has changed since then.
