Louisiana Woman Who is Wheelchair-Bound Robbed

A woman in New Orleans, Louisiana was robbed while bound to her wheelchair.

WWL reports that a woman, who is wheelchair-bound, was robbed while sitting at the corner of Bourbon Street and Canal.

New Orleans Police say that a black male approached the woman sitting at the busy intersection, and that is when he allegedly took the woman's purse that she had around her neck.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction and NOPD is now investigating this crime that reportedly happened on Memorial Day at 6:30 am.

Where this incident occurred is surrounded by hotels and businesses, so perhaps the person who robbed the woman was caught on camera.
