The agency posted on social media that you should not flood their dispatch center with calls about wind speed. Several people are calling the dispatch center to ask about how strong the winds may be with Hurricane Francine, and that is tying up the phone lines for potential emergency calls.

So, if you need information on the storm, you should follow your local meteorologist on social media as many across the Gulf Coast are doing a phenomenal job as we prepare for the storm's landfall, which should be late Wednesday morning.
