Mother's Day morning was particularly bright for the holders of two particular Powerball lottery tickets that were purchased in Louisiana. No, those tickets, nor any of the other tickets sold for the Saturday, May 11th drawing matched all of the numbers necessary to claim the game's top prize. But one Louisiana purchased ticket is worth $100,000 this morning while another is worth $50,000.

According to Louisiana Lottery officials, a ticket was sold at a Circle K Store in Baton Rouge. It matched four of the five white ball numbers drawn and the Powerball. The ticket's purchaser also invoked the Powerplay option in the game making the total prize amount, $100,000.

The numbers from the May 11, 2019 drawing were:

06 08 09 37 40 PB 26  PP x2

The ticket was purchased at the Circle K located at 9110 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge. The holder of the winning ticket will need to contact the Louisiana Lottery Offices in order to claim the prize money.

Another ticket purchased for that same Powerball drawing in Houma is a $50,000 winner. That ticket holder matched the same four of five white ball numbers and the Powerball too. That ticket purchaser did not invoke the Powerplay option though. The ticket was purchased at Houma Truck Plaza on Grand Caillou Road.

The Powerball jackpot continues to rise following Saturday's drawing. By Wednesday's next scheduled drawing the jackpot should be an estimated $250 million. The Mega Millions game, which will have its next drawing on Tuesday night, is expected to be an estimated $316 million by the time the balls drop for that drawing.
