Louisiana Deputy Helps Tie Man’s Tie During Traffic Stop
A deputy in southeastern Louisiana pulled a man over for speeding and then assisted the man in tying his tie.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office posted a photo on their social media page of a deputy with the man he pulled over. As you'll see below, the deputy was seen assisting the man with his tie.
According to the agency's social media post, Deputy Dustin Byers with the 4th District stopped the driver for speeding on Highway 21.

While they were talking, the driver informed the deputy that he was on his way to a funeral, and he was having a bad day. To top that, he was also having trouble tying his tie, and that is when the deputy stepped in.
Deputy Byers assisted the man with his tie so that when he arrived, he was set.
We'll file this story under the 'good news' segment, and we applaud this deputy for assisting this man on a difficult day. The agency did not specify whether the man was cited for speeding, but WVUE reports that he was issued a ticket for driving above the speed limit.
For those, like me, who need a bit more help in tying ties, here's a quick tutorial to keep in mind when you need to get "dressed up."
