Louisiana Christmas Weather Forecast Won’t Be Very ‘Christmas-Like’
If you're in South Louisiana and want snow for Christmas, you're probably going to have to travel very far for a "White Christmas."
While temperatures are expected to be winter-like this weekend in Louisiana, the cold air may move out just before Santa's arrival, and you know what that means. Yes, rather than wearing a thick jacket and scarf for Christmas, we may be wearing shorts and sandals on December 25th in Louisiana.
Meteorologist Zack Fradelle posted a graphic on social media and it shows temperatures by Christmas Day in the Deep South in the 70s. So, if you show up at someone's home for Christmas and the AC is on, don't be shocked.
I should note here, that if we do have to wear shorts for Christmas this year, this will not be the first time. I can vividly recall wearing shorts to my parent's house for Christmas, and that is never fun.
Now, if there's any good news, we're still days out, which means things could change in the weather world, but you should plan for a warm Christmas Day, and you may want to have insect repellent with you if you and your family are having Christmas on the patio.
Now, let's take a look at the Grinch of a forecast, and no, I am not blaming any weather forecaster for this, but wouldn't it be nice to have a cold Christmas morning with the fireplace lit?
Oh, well. There's always next year.
