One Louisiana Parish Sheriff’s Office Has a Hilarious Way to Get Back at Your Ex
(KPEL News) - If you have a broken heart due to an ex, you don't have to worry about your Valentine's Day plans, as the Livingston Parish Crime Stoppers program wants to help you get back at the person who ditched you.
Plenty of people end up breaking up with their significant other either before, on the day of, or after Valentine's Day. Bumble cites recent survey data on breakups around Valentine's Day and how to handle them.
Some research has shown that around one in 14 US adults had broken up with somebody on Valentine’s Day. That’s 7% of people, with 6% saying that they had broken up just before and another 6% breaking up just afterwards. So that’s 19% of people surveyed who had experienced a breakup around Valentine’s Day.

It's a Tongue-In-Cheek Post.....Or Is It?
Back to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and its post. It's a tongue-in-cheek post that is obviously sarcastic, but it does drive home a good point. You may have been married to someone, had a romance, or had a situationship, and now that it's over, you don't feel one ounce of regret for that person.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and its Crimestoppers program encourage anyone with information about a crime to report it; even if you aren't mad at an ex.
Should You Tell On An Ex By Calling A Crimestoppers Program?
Now, it's important to point out that a recent survey covered in a story by MSN found that just over half of men and 36% of women say they would get back together with a certain ex from the past "in a heartbeat". So, you might want to think about it before you drop the dime on someone.

Let's face it....you may not want to rat on someone while you're in a relationship, but once you are free of that person, you might have a whole different perspective on some of the things they have done. You can report the activity, and if the information you have given leads to an arrest, you're eligible for an award.
