Lane Kiffin’s Son May Have Announced Where His Dad Will Coach in 2026
(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) - The biggest question in the college football world is where Ole Miss Football Coach Lane Kiffin will coach after this football season.
Will Kiffin stay in Mississippi, or will he pursue openings in Florida and at LSU? According to Ross Dellenger, LSU is reportedly set to offer Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin a contract worth over $90 million, with an additional $25 million in roster cash.
On Friday, Ole Miss announced that Kiffin's future at the SEC school will be announced after the annual "Egg Bowl' which takes place on November 28, 2025, when Ole Miss travels to take on the in-state rival Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Here's what the Athletic Director stated about the current Kiffin situation at Ole Miss:
So, while we honestly don't know what to expect from Lane Kiffin and LSU, we do know that he is now the odds-on favorite to get the job in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and his son may have hinted even more this past Friday night.
Knox Kiffin, who was recently invited to LSU on a recruiting trip, wore LSU headphones during his pregame warmups for a high school football playoff game. Let me know, he was gifted these, but was Knox announcing something before his father even stepped up to the microphone?
The Kiffins are known for "trolling," so while some may take Knox's photo with the LSU headphones seriously, others are not giving it much weight.
Here's the viral photo that Knox shared on his Instagram account on Friday evening. What are your thoughts on this photo? Let us know in the comments.
