Lafayette Parish Bridge Closed For Emergency Repairs

Louisiana DOTD Secretary Shawn Wilson says they have closed the bridge on LA 1252 - 0.6 miles south of the Lafayette/St. Martin Parish line - because of a failing cap and pile decay.

"It's the third bridge we are closing in 2019," says Wilson on twitter.

DOTD says they expect the bridge work to be completed by Wednesday, March 20 - weather permitting.
