Beloved Lafayette Speech Therapist Gets Heartwarming Birthday Surprise
(Lafayette, LA) - It's not often that you are invited to be in on a surprise, but let's face it, when someone you know tells you there is a teacher who is having her birthday on the last day of school, you totally want in on the surprise.
One of our former coworkers, Rob Kirkpatrick, says he has been promising to do something for Lindsey Lane for quite some time, for years. Hey, life is busy.
Broadmoor's Speech Therapist Has Her Birthday on the Last Day of School
Today ended up being the perfect day for a fun surprise. Lindsey Lane is the speech therapist at Broadmoor Elementary. Rob's daughter, Blakely, just finished her year at Broadmoor, and they heard it was going to be Lindsey's birthday on this last day of school.
Lindsey always told Rob, "Hey, when are you going to bring Bernadette Lee to meet me"? Imagine my shock when Rob told me this. Rob and his daughter came to pick me up so we could go to Broadmoor to surprise Lindsey.
Speech Therapist Lindsey Lane is Beloved by All Who Encounter Her
I was able to meet this incredible woman and speech therapist, and I was so honored. I was able to bring her some flowers and help her to celebrate her birthday!
A huge thank you to Rob and Blakely for helping me to make Lindsey's day fun! I hope Lindsey gets lots of gifts!!
Hopefully, Lindsey feels just how loved and appreciated she truly is.
