A few days ago, I reported that Lady Gaga's new CD 'Born this Way' went platinum in its first week of release.  It looks like she won't sell ANY copies in Lebanon, at least for now.  Yahoo News reports officials seized a shipment of the CDs upon their arrival in Beirut. They remain impounded.

'We collected the CDs on the grounds that the music was offensive to religion. They are still in our offices. We are still deciding what to do with them.'     said an unidentified official from the office of censorship.

The CD hasn't been officially banned but Lebanese officials are extremely concerned about reactions from various religious factions.

'In the most biblical sense, I am beyond repentance.'   -Lady Gaga  'Judas'
