Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting Dons Short Shorts on Cosmo Cover, Talks Chaos of Henry Cavill Fling
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting covers the May 2014 issue of Cosmo, looking fine in short shorts, a harbinger of summer. The actress' love life was the hot topic of the cover feature convo.
That's understandable, since in the space of six months, she had a super quick fling with Henry Cavill aka Superman and got married to tennis ace Ryan Sweeting at the end of the year, literally. She reveals how she navigated the whirlwind.
Okay, so the Cavill thing, er, fling. She was seen with the 'Man of Steel' star in public and the media went nuts over it.
Even though she is already a huge star in her own right, playing the lead female role on the biggest show on TV, KC-S still maintained a modicum of anonymity.
Her profile didn't blow up until she and Cavill hooked up.
"I had no one following me until I met Superman," she said. "I’ve been in this business for 20 years, and my whole life, I could go anywhere, do anything. There had not been one paparazzi photo of me until like several months ago. The recognition was crazy."
That fling took place in the summer. She wed Sweeting on New Year's Eve, so yeah, she moves on quick!
"I admit it happened fast, but that’s who I am," she confessed. "When we met, I knew he was the one. [At my wedding], I felt like a rock star and a badass. What was amazing in that room, it was so full of love. It was like nothing I’d ever been to before, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be. It was the eighth wonder of the world, the greatest wedding of all time."
OMG, that's uber romantic. When you know, you know!
Cuoco-Sweeting also spoke about on-set weirdness after she and her 'Big Bang Theory' co-star Johnny Galecki, with whom she was in a relationship for two years, split. "It took a minute, a bit of awkwardness," she said. "By the grace of God, we became best buddies and moved on in such an elegant way. [He’s] one of my closest friends. He was in the front row at my wedding, with a huge smile on his face."
Cuoco-Sweeting's issue of Cosmo lands April 8.
