Jim Hummel Details Investigation Of Priests In The Diocese Of Lafayette

The controversy continues surrounding the list of priests in the Diocese of Lafayette who have had credible abuse allegations levied against them. KATC news anchor Jim Hummel has also been the lead investigator for the station's series THE LIST. Jim joined Carol Ross on the Ross Report to bring some of the latest information on the investigation.

Blue Rolfes, the Communications Director for the Diocese and former KLFY TV-10 news anchor, called into the Ross Report to respond to some of the things said in the interview with Jim Hummel.

As someone who has covered this scandal and others, I have to ask myself if the communications team is being kept in the dark, too. Diocesan leaders across the state have begun to list the accused priests and their parishes. This is something The Diocese of Lafayette has so far been unwilling to do.
