Eunice, Louisiana Shooting Leaves One in Hospital

A shooting in Eunice, Louisiana on Sunday, September 29 left one man injured and another charged with attempted murder.

The Eunice Police Department was dispatched to a residence on Fusilier Street around 10:00 am in reference to a shooting.

Once on scene, officers found a man had been shot in the abdomen inside the home by another man.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and later transferred to a Lafayette hospital in stable condition.

Chrininski Voris, 17, of Eunice, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder following the incident.

No other charges are expected.

The investigation remains ongoing and more information could be released by police at a later time.
