Louisiana Driver Tragically Collides Head-On with a School Bus
An unbelievably sad event unfolded on a Louisiana roadway Thursday morning as law enforcement officers say that a driver drove head-on into a school bus, resulting in a tragedy.
What Is Known About The Crash?
According to St. Martin Parish Sheriff Becket Breaux, a 38-year-old man was driving down the roadway in the northbound direction on Poche Bridge Road while a school bus was driving in the opposite direction.
While they do not have an answer to the question of why this happened, they know that Arthur St. Amant Joubert crossed over the center line of the roadway and ended up colliding head-on with the school bus.

What Followed the Crash?
According to Sheriff Breaux, Joubert was taken to an area hospital for treatment of extreme injuries.
Shortly after the man was taken to the hospital, he succumbed to the severe injuries he sustained in the crash.
Breaux says that no one on the bus was injured.
What Other Details Are Available?
Sheriff Breaux says this crash happened at around 7 o'clock on the morning of Thursday, April 10.
At that time, deputies were dispatched to the location after a 911 call was received about a serious crash.
The crash physically happened in the 1000 block of Poche Bridge Road in Breaux Bridge.
Sheriff Breaux says they will continue to investigate the crash.
