Many of you are probably thinking, "Didn't they just play here?" Well, if you think that a year ago is not that long ago, then you'd answer affirmative to the previous question.

The Big Wheels Keep on Turnin' Tour was at the Cajundome on Friday, September 9, 2022. Don Felder and the Outlaws were the special guests on that tour stop here in Lafayette.

About ZZ Top

Formed in Houston, Texas back in 1969, ZZ Top consisted of vocalist-guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and bassist-vocalist Dusty Hill, until Hill's death in 2021.

Elwood Francis, longtime guitar tech for Billy Gibbons, has been playing with the band since Hill's death.

Some of the band's biggest commercial success came in the 1980s with songs like "Gimme All Your Lovin" and "Legs" along with "Sharp Dressed Man."

To date, ZZ Top has released 16 studio albums, including 2022's Raw, the soundtrack for the band's 2019 documentary That Little Ol' Band from Texas. It was one of their final live albums with Hill.
