Louisiana Target Stores to Host Midnight Taylor Swift CD Release

(KMDL-FM) If you haven't heard, singer Taylor Swift is doing alright. The mega star singer and performer has wrapped up a worldwide tour, gotten engaged to a professional athlete, and she's announced a brand new CD, too.

Oh, and the fact that she "got her masters back" might be the biggest event in Taylor's musical life. I can only imagine what it must have felt like to see something that you loved, nurtured, and created being owned by someone other than yourself. The fact that Taylor has got her version and the original versions back under one roof makes for a very happy ending.

Unless you have managed to be on a field trip with Amelia Earhart, chances are you are aware that Taylor has announced the release of a new CD. The new project is called The Life of a Showgirl. She made the announcement with fiancé Travis Kelce on the Kelce Brothers' podcast a few weeks back.

When Will Taylor Swift Release Her New CD, The Life of a Showgirl?

The plan is to release the new CD at midnight on October 3rd, and while some people might be content to simply download the tunes from an online platform, others will want to have the tactile feeling of a new CD in their hands. Okay, well, there are actually three CDs?

Target is offering three exclusive CDs that there is no doubt the most Swiftie of Taylor's fans will have to have. The CDs will be available at midnight at some 500 Target stores nationwide. There are four Target stores in Louisiana that will open at midnight on October 3rd so that fans of Taylor can get their copy or copies the moment the CD is made available.

Louisiana Target Stores Will Host Taylor Swift's Midnight Release on October 3rd

The Target Stores in Louisiana that will be participating include:

Alexandria | 2206 Memorial Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301

Lafayette | 4313 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette, LA 70508

Metairie | 4500 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006

Monroe | 4103 Pecanland Mall Dr, Monroe, LA 71203

There are two Target Stores in Mississippi that will host Taylor midnight events; those stores are in Hattiesburg and D'Iberville.  In Texas, there will be 43 Target Stores participating. 

The 12-track CDs will sell for $14.99 and include an exclusive poster, collectible cover and disc art, never-before-seen photos, lyrics, and more, according to a press release from Target. I am sure Taylor won't disappoint. And I am sure the extras that she has included in the project(s) will be very well thought out and very well received by her fans.
