Lafayette, Louisiana Trash Schedule Moved Back One Day

The inclement weather has wreaked havoc on just about everything in Acadiana over the last couple of days. It's doing the same with trash pick-up in Lafayette and other parts of Lafayette Parish.

According to a press release for Lafayette Consolidated Government, Acadiana Waste Services was not able to complete curbside collection routes today (Tuesday, January 16).

As a result collection dates will be pushed back a day for all residents.

So, if you are an AWS customer, Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday while Wednesday routes will be picked up on Thursday, and so on.
