Where Is The Haunted Car Wash In Lafayette?

The Cajun Clean Haunted Car Wash is happening at 3605 Johnston Street in Lafayette.

Instead of simply driving through a tunnel with a few spooky decorations, Cajun Clean turns the wash into a full-blown Halloween experience with scare actors and plenty of surprises along the way.

The company says guests should be prepared for jump scares, loud noises, darkness, fog, flashing and strobe lighting and other Halloween effects.

So if you're the person who doesn't like haunted houses because you have to walk through them, this might be right up your alley. Just buckle up and let somebody else do the walking.

When Is The Cajun Clean Haunted Car Wash Open?

The Cajun Clean Haunted Car Wash actually got started this past weekend, but there are plenty more dates on the calendar for the Halloween Season 2026.

The Haunted Car Wash is happening on multiple nights throughout October.

The 2026 schedule includes:

October 2–3
October 9–10
October 15–17
October 22–24
October 29–31

The terror begins at 7 p.m. and continue until the last cars make it through the car wash. Cajun Clean says the event will generally run until around 11 p.m. to midnight, depending on how many people are waiting in line.

That means there's plenty of time to make this part of your Halloween weekend plans.

How Much Does The Haunted Car Wash Cost?

The Haunted Car Wash costs $40 per vehicle.

Cajun Clean members can get in for $30 per vehicle, making membership a pretty good deal if you're already a regular customer.

The price includes a Cajun Gleaux car wash, so this means at least the outside of your car will be clean. Whatever happens inside of your vehicle is on you, if you know I mean.

What Happens Inside The Haunted Car Wash?

Cajun Clean says the Haunted Car Wash features live scare actors, sudden scares, fog, darkness, loud sounds and flashing or strobe lights.

The entire experience takes place while you're inside your vehicle.

And there's an interesting twist for anyone who really wants to get into the experience.

According to Cajun Clean, scare actors may open vehicle doors during the interactive portion if the doors are left unlocked. If that's not your thing, simply keep the doors locked.

If you're putting together your Halloween weekend plans, this one is definitely worth adding to the list, especially if you like your car washes with a healthy dose of fog, monsters and jump scares.

Just remember...keep your doors locked if you don't want the monsters getting inside.
