We can only hope so.

Our media partner at KATC-TV 3, Rob Perillo, recently posted a graphic that shows a possible cool front heading down south.

The projected cool front would make its way to Louisiana by mid-September, if it does happen, according to the  GFS & Euro models.

Being that this possibility is weeks away, we won't put much into this forecast, but it is fine to hope and wish for a cool front.

Keep in mind cool fronts deter and help steer potential tropical storms/hurricanes away from us, so I say bring it on.

As Rob said, don't count on this cool front to reach us, but we are slowly approaching the time of year when cool fronts start to show up in forecasts.
