UPDATE: I-10 West Reopens In Rayne Area

Update: I-10 west in Rayne has reopened following the crash earlier today. Traffic congestion is still backed up for miles.

Interstate Ten is shut down on the westbound side near Rayne after a crash involving two 18-wheelers.

The Louisiana Department of Transporation and Development says that a traffic crash between Exit 82 and Exit 87.

DOTD says both lanes of westbound traffic is shut down at this time due to the crash.
