Interstate 10 Lane Closures Happening This Workweek

Heading to Baton Rouge this upcoming week?

If you are, you will want to make note of some lane closures scheduled to happen on the Interstate 10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge and in Baton Rouge all throughout the workweek.

LAFAYETTE PARISH

I-10 in BOTH DIRECTIONS: There will be NIGHTLY lane closures EASTBOUND and WESTBOUND from Exit 103 (I-49 Exit) to Exit 109 (LA 328). This will start on Sunday and last until Wednesday, May 5. DOTD crews will be performing asphalt operations on the roadway. No detour route will be necessary.

IBERVILLE PARISH

I-10 EASTBOUND: Right lane will be closed at the LA 975 (Whiskey Bay) Exit on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. DOTD crews will be removing concrete barriers from the edge of the roadway from 9 PM Monday through 5 AM Tuesday.

EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH

I-10 WESTBOUND: Single and Double lane closures will be happening Monday through Wednesday between the Highland Road and the Siegen Lane exits. DOTD crews will be contructing the Pecue Lane overpass. The single lane closures will happen between 9 PM and 5 AM nightly; the double lane closures will happen between 11 PM and 4 AM nightly.

I-10 EASTBOUND: Single and Double lane closures will be happening Thursday and Friday between the Highland Road and the Siegen Lane exits. DOTD crews will be contructing the Pecue Lane overpass. The single lane closures will happen between 9 PM and 5 AM nightly; the double lane closures will happen between 11 PM and 4 AM nightly.
