Here’s Why You Need To Drive Slowly On Flooded Streets

First of all, you should avoid driving on flooded roads. Always. But, if you find yourself caught in a flash flood like residents of New Orleans did this week, you need to take care when driving.

The wake (or wave) created by your vehicle could be enough to flood someone's home or business. In the video below, you can see water being pushed into a building by passing vehicles:
