Help Oklahoma Tornado Victims By Donating in Lafayette
BTI Services in Lafayette is opening a donation drive thru to raise supplies for the areas of Oklahoma affected by tornados. BTI has a location in the Oklahoma City. Many of the company's employees were affected by the storm. If you would like to donate, you may drop off supplies at BTI's Lafayette location, which is located at 214 Southpark Rd. They will have a drive-thru set up Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (5/22-24) from 6 AM - 8 PM. On Saturday they will collect from 8 AM to 2 PM. They will not be collecting on Sunday and Monday, but will pick up again on Tuesday.
Oklahoma Disaster Supply List:
Infant formula and diapers (all sizes)
Pet food
Sleeping bag or blankets
Towels and washcloths
Clothing and Shoes.
Feminine supplies
Personal hygiene items: toothpaste,toothbrushes, deodorant, soap.
Household chlorine bleach and cleaning supplies
Laundry detergent
Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties
Paper cups, plates and plastic utensils, paper towels
Can opener
Zip lock bags of assorted sizes
Water
Food (canned or non perishables)
Books, games, puzzles or other activities for children
Battery-powered or hand crank radio or a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert and extra batteries for both
Flashlights
Batteries
First aid kit or supplies: band-aids, medical tape, Gauze.
Whistle to signal for help
Dust mask, to help filter contaminated air
Plastic sheeting and duct tape
Plastic Totes or Waterproof, portable containers
