Happy Birthday, Dr. John! [Video]

I've been a Dr. John fan since Junior High School. My uncle lived in New Orleans, and brought photos when he visited. He was also a great storyteller. Moving to Louisiana in my early twenties was exciting. Music that comes from here has a unique flavor that can't be found elsewhere. Malcolm "Mac" Rebennack was born Nov. 21st, 1940. By his teens, he was working as a producer & session musician. Dr. John is a 6 time Grammy winner, and a member of the Rock 'n roll Hall of Fame. He also holds an honorary PHD from Tulane.
