Our friends at Cajun Paws Rescue, a local animal rescue organization, posted this plea for help on their Facebook page recently:

Help help help! We need a foster for our girl Grace. Her current foster had horses and she isn't doing too well around them! But she loves others dogs. She is kennel and house trained and has been in training classes. She is about one year old. Please consider helping. We don't want to baby in boarding. - Cajun Paws Rescue
Remember: when you foster for Cajun Paws Rescue, the process is free.  They will provide food and veterinary care when needed.  All you have to do is provide a (temporary) loving home until a permanent home is found.  Of course, if you can afford to provide food and vet care, it is much appreciated, as CPR would be able to direct those monies to save other dogs.
If at any time during the fostering process the host family decides that they want to adopt their foster dog, the process is easy.  They pay the adoption fees at that time, sign the paperwork, and it'll be another foster success story (we love success stories!!)!
If you can foster, please do.  If you can't, please share this post so that we can find someone who can.
