Garry Brodhead Gearing Up For Pink Game [AUDIO]

The Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball team is in a fight right now, actually multiple fights to be exact. The first thing they're fighting for is their seeding in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament which is fast approaching. The second, and more importantly, they're fighting together with this community to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

On Saturday, the team plays host to Texas State and coach was nice enough to stop by the studio to talk about how the season is going but to also promote a special event that'll be taking place. The game is scheduled for 2 pm but beforehand they'll be holding the inaugural Andrea Brodhead Cancer Walk. Coach gets into the details of the walk, what it means to him, and the Pink Game against Texas State at 2.

If you'd like to partake in the walk, registration is at 8:30 am at the Cajun Dome and at 9 there will be the opportunity to go a little behind the scenes with the team. The walk starts at 10 am.
