Games of Acadiana Virtual Scavenger Hunt Features Music

(99.9 KTDY) - The kick-off of this year's virtual Games of Acadiana's Scavenger Hunt happens on May 30 at Blackham Coliseum.

The virtual scavenger hunt will have the theme of "Music Through the Ages". The kick-off event will feature a survivor's walk, interactive games, music, and more entertainment.

What Is the Games of Acadiana Scavenger Hunt?

This year's virtual scavenger hunt will be packed with fun for families. Miles Perret Cancer Services helps individuals in Acadiana who are fighting cancer with a multitude of support services.

The Games of Acadiana Virtual Scavenger Hunt will officially begin on Saturday, May 30, and will run through Saturday, June 13. The kick-off event on May 30 begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m.

Why the Games of Acadiana Scavenger Hunt Matters for Cancer Families

Games of Acadiana is more than just fun and games—it’s a powerful way for our community to come together and support local families facing cancer.

The event begins on Saturday, May 30, and for 15 days, participants will take part in a virtual scavenger hunt with more than 100 music-inspired challenges. All you have to do to gain access is use your phone.

The best part of the scavenger hunt is that you can do these challenges anytime you want to, between May 30 and June 13. There are prizes that you can win, and there is a grand prize of $10,000

It's also free to play! If you want to ramp up your chances at winning, you can purchase raffle tickets for #20 each, and all the proceeds go to the families fighting cancer. The prize drawing will happen live at 10 a.m. during a live stream on Miles Perret's Facebook page.
