Fred’s Closing Four Acadiana Stores

Fred's has announced they're closing 159 locations across the country including four locations including Lafayette and Acadiana by the end of May.

KATC.com reports Fred's will close 14 stores in Louisiana including Lafayette, Carencro, Franklin, and St. Martinville.

The company says they are closing stores deemed underperforming and unprofitable.

The locations in Acadiana closing are:
